Shraddha Kapoor Personal Life
Shraddha Kapoor is a popular actress in Bollywood
industry. She was born on March 3 in the year 1987 in Mumbai. Her father is a
popular comedian actor, Shakti Kapoor hails from Punjab and her mother Shivangi
kapoor, from a Marathi family.

She started her education in Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and later she shifted to American school of Bombay. After that she admitted in Boston University in psychology. She was trained as a singer since her childhood.
Shraddha Kapoor Career Start
Her first film was 'Teen Patti' alongside Amitabh Bachchan,
Ben Kingsley and R.Madhavan. Though this film was not yet successful, her
performance, as a teen, was appreciated by the critics.
After that she signed a three film contract with Yash raj
films, later she cancelled the deal for Vishesh films, 'Aashiqui 2', a romantic
film in 2013. The film was a major success in the industry collecting the
highest ranks in global level. For this film she recieved many awards. This
film is a story of a female bar singer, who becomes successful singer with the
help of a male singer. She looked stunning alongside Aditya Roy Kapoor.
Her next film was 'Gori tere pyaar mein', in which she
played the role of Imraan Khan's fiancee. Shraddha signed her next project for
a thriller film, 'Ek villain'. She also sang 'Galiyaaan' in her own voice. This
film was said to be inspired from a korean drama.
In 2014, she signed for 'Haider' a period film of Vishal
Bhardwaj, which was adopted by William Shakespeare's Hamlet. This film also
gained a huge recognition globally. In 2015, she played the lead role for a
dance film, ABCD 2: Anybody can dance with the dancing specialists Prabhudeva
and Remo D'Souza. She rehearsed the role of hip hop dancer in that film. It was
produced by Walt Disney Pictures, and became the most widely seen film of hers
globally.
In 2016, she played the lead role alongside charming
star, Tiger Shroff in 'Baaghi'. She was cast beautifully, as a love interest of
the male lead as well as a dancer. The film got high appreciation by the
critics and was successful enough in that year.
The very next year, she accepted Shaad Ali's Romantic
drama 'Ok Jaanu', reunited with Aditya Roy Kapoor. After that her thriller film
'Haseena Parkar' was released in 2017. The film was a biopic of Dawood
Ibrahim's sister. Shraddha played the role well but it didn't match to the
level of box office success.

Hence her 2017 films were on average till 2018 knocked
her door to success.
Her next film was 'Stree', a horror film alongside Rajkumar
Rao based on a Legend "Naale ba". She plays the role of unnamed
mysterious lady who falls in love with a human. In this year, she also made a
debut in 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu', a film throwing light upon a social issue in
India.
Kapoor gave another try for a multilingual film 'Saaho'
alongside popular artist Prabhas. It was the most expensive film kapoor had
tried ever. Almost 3 billion was budgeted to this film. And it became
successful only in Hindi.
She also performed with film with Late Sushant Singh
Rajput, for the film 'Chhichhore' playing a college life with comedy.This film
grossed over 2 billion to be her most successful films.
Shraddha again united with Varun Dhawan for a dance film
"Dance 3D" in the year 2020. Commercially, it was a success. She
continued reunion with Tiger Shroff for the sequel "Baaghi 3"

Shraddha is an amazing singer since her childhood, and
when she sang for the film "Ek villain"(Galliyan). Later she sang Do
jahaan for the film 'Haider', Sab tera for 'Baaghi', Tere Mere Dil, Woh jahaan,
Udja Re for Rock On 2. Phir bhi tumko chahungi for Half-Girlfriend and Hum
hindustani.
Accolades Received
She received numerous awards like BIG Star Entertainment
awards for the best romantic duo in the film Teen patti.
She won the Screen awards and Star Guild awards for the
film Aashiqui 2 as the best actress and couple of the year with Aditya Roy
Kapoor. She also received the Global Indian Music Academy awards for Best
Celebrity singer of the year. She got the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards India
for the favorite movie actress in 'Chhichhore'.
Endorsing Brands and Social Media
Adding on to her acting career, she also engaged herself
in charitable trust. She is the brand ambassador of Lakme, Veet, Lipton and
Marico's Hair and Care products. She was placed in the list of McAfee's most
searched celebrity poll. Rediff.com also listed her as one among in top 10 Bollywood
actress of 2014. The Forbes magazine featured her as the most paid actress of
2016 and she became the actress with highest fan following in social media like
Instagram having almost 10 million followers. She was also titled as the
Hottest Vegetarian by Peta India.
